Education: Graduated in 1974 from the Department of Translation, Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv; completed postgraduate studies (1977–1980) at the same institution; completed an internship at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, in 1988.

 

At Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv:

1983–1984: Senior Lecturer;

1984–present: Associate Professor.

1991–1994: Head of the Department of English Language for Natural Sciences.

1994–1998: Head of the Department of English Language for Physics and Mathematics.

2002–2012: Head of the Department of English Language for Natural Sciences.

2012–2022: Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Economics.

Editor-in-Chief (2005–2012) of the interuniversity collection of scientific works, Foreign Languages in Natural Sciences Faculties. Member of the editorial board of the journal Bulletin of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv: Economics.

Translated collective monographs into English, including E. Stutsky, Acknowledgement (2007), and I. Vernadsky, Roots (2009), among others. Translated numerous scientific publications in economics, biophysics, biochemistry, and ophthalmology.

Served as a simultaneous interpreter in Ukraine (1969–1997) and the United States (1995–1997) at international seminars on nuclear physics and radiation safety.
