The Department provides courses of English, German, French and Spanish for specific purposes and an Academic Foreign Language for postgraduate and doctoral students at the Faculty of Economics.

Research areas:
Research interests of the Department scholars are united by a common focus: Research and teaching foreign languages to implement macroeconomic strategy the European vector of Ukraine’s economic development: conceptual framework, challenges and contradictions in the following main areas of research:
• linguistics
• translation
• methods of teaching foreign languages
• pedagogy
• psycholinguistics.
