International Relations
The department’s international activities include the following areas of work:
- scientific and scientific-technical cooperation with foreign organisations, internships and professional development (John Chambers College of Business and Economics, West Virginia University, USA);
- research collaboration through joint projects;
- cooperation with leading scientific and educational institutions around the world, membership in international scientific associations: Academy of Management (USA), Strategic Management Society (USA);
- membership in editorial boards of international scientific publications (California Management Review (Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, USA), Management Issues (UW, Poland), Journal of Entrepreneurship, Management and Innovation (JEMI), (PAN, Poland)), including those indexed in the Scopus and/or Web of Science Core Collection (Business Ethics and Leadership) scientometric databases;
- establishing contacts with foreign scientists and educators, international business practitioners;
- membership in the jury of the International Competition of Scientific Works of Students in the field of Public and Corporate Management, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, 2023, 2024, 2025;
- joint publications in journals included in international scientometric databases;
- participation in international internship, professional development, and academic mobility programmes;

Implementation of international grant projects

Membership in the Creative Flame network of institutions (United Kingdom) that ensure excellence in entrepreneurship education, 2022 (https://lnk.ua/xVm81RBev).
As part of the British Council’s Creative Spark grant programme in collaboration with Kingston University (UK) in 2019-2022, the project ‘National Centre for Creative Entrepreneurship’ (NCCE) was implemented, which was aimed at developing additional conditions at KNUTS to support innovative projects in the field of entrepreneurial activity, ensuring the intensification of research activities in the field of creative industries and creative entrepreneurship.
The department staff participated in the implementation of grant projects: from the Visegrad Scholarship Programme (2020-2021) ‘Development of an innovative economy network in research universities of the Visegrad Group’. An additional grant was received from the Visegrad Scholarship Programme for 2021–2022 for the implementation of the project ‘Development of entrepreneurial talent in research universities’.
Under the European Commission’s grant agreement in Ukraine, members of the department implemented the research project ‘Building innovative potential in Ukrainian SMEs and strengthening cooperation with European SMEs.’

The EFBM 3.0 International Forum ‘Economy. Finance. Business. Management. From Recovery to Growth’ and the research session ‘Organisational Management in the Formation and Realisation of Ukraine’s Post-War Economic Recovery Potential’ (2024) were attended by representatives from: Warsaw University (Republic of Poland), West Virginia University (USA), Liverpool Hope University Business School (United Kingdom).

Department members experience professional growth in different corners of the world. Active interaction includes: The University of Nevada, the Katz Graduate School of Business, Cornell University, the University of Warsaw, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, the Research Institute of Lublin Science and Technology Park, Northumbria University, the Baltic Research Institute for Economic Transformation, the University of Finance, Business and Entrepreneurship, the University of Luxembourg, Liverpool Hope University, Jagiellonian University, Krakow University of Economics, and Białystok State University.
An international academic internship was completed under the “Creative Spark” program from the British Council and a “Train the Trainers” boot camp was attended in 2020. NCSE, Northumbria University (Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK).
Language skills are improved through the Learn English Select program from the British Council and the Creative Spark Project (2020–2021).
