International Relations
The faculty members of the Department continuously enhance their professional competence, adopt modern teaching methodologies, develop research activities, and strengthen international cooperation through participation in academic mobility programmes and international internships. They actively engage in Erasmus+ initiatives and internships hosted by leading universities in Poland (Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Civitas University in Warsaw, Krakow University of Economics, and the Higher School of Business – National Louis University in Nowy Sącz) as well as in Lithuania (the Public Security Academy of Mykolas Romeris University) and in Norway (Nord University). Such collaboration promotes the internationalization of higher education, the implementation of innovative teaching technologies, the exchange of pedagogical experience, and enhances the University’s prestige at the global level.
The Department also maintains close cooperation with the Krakow University of Economics and the University of Economics in Bratislava. This partnership encompasses joint scientific research, academic exchanges, conferences, and the implementation of international educational and research projects. Notably, on October 15, 2025, the Rectors of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Krakow University of Economics (Poland) signed an updated Framework Agreement on Cooperation, originally concluded in 2016. The agreement provides for student and staff exchanges, joint research and educational initiatives, sharing of materials and best practices, as well as participation in EU programmes and other international projects. The Department plans to develop detailed cooperation programmes for the 2025–2026 academic year and beyond, ensuring active engagement of faculty members, staff, and students of the Faculty of Economics.
The Department of Statistics, Information and Analytical Systems and Demography is actively expanding its network of international academic partnerships, establishing cooperation with the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, the Agricultural University of Krakow, the Czech Technical University in Prague, the Technical University of Munich, and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. These collaborations foster the development of scientific relations and participation in joint research, conferences, and projects within the international academic community and SAP University Alliances initiatives.
In addition, the Department is deepening international cooperation within the SAP University Alliances programme, which facilitates knowledge exchange and the implementation of innovations in information technologies for business and economics. Faculty members regularly represent the University at international academic events, including the SAP Academic Community Conference Central and Eastern Europe, where they share their experience in integrating modern ERP solutions and artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process. The outcomes of international cooperation are used to update educational programmes and to develop new areas of collaboration with leading European universities and companies.
