Educational Programs

The Department of Marketing and Business Administration offers degree programs in Marketing at the Bachelor’s (first cycle), Master’s (second cycle), and Doctor of Philosophy (third cycle) levels of higher education.

The Department’s educational programs prepare specialists with modern economic thinking, professional methodologies, technologies, and tools required for effective marketing activities in domestic and international companies across various economic sectors, consulting and auditing firms, and public administration bodies.

Professional disciplines are taught by representatives of one of the first academic schools of marketing in Ukraine, whose faculty members are authors of the modern Ukrainian marketing concept, founders of the field’s development from its early stages to the present, and creators of original teaching methods, textbooks, methodological materials, and case studies based on Ukrainian business practice.

A distinctive feature of the Department’s programs at all levels is the optimal combination of fundamental economic education characteristic of a classical university with practical skill development through unique, author-designed methodologies and decision-making tools in market and product strategy. Students gain experience in close cooperation with leading Ukrainian businesses, participate in mandatory professional / research / teaching internships, attend a number of courses taught in English, and take an active part in research activities – including co-authorship of scholarly papers, participation in international and national competitions, and conducting primary marketing research.

At the Master’s level, students may also pursue the international educational program “Business Administration and Consulting” (instruction in English and Ukrainian), which provides a double degree opportunity in cooperation with the University of Macerata, Italy. Accredited as a model interdisciplinary international program recognized in the European higher education area since 2012, it enables students to participate in tuition-free degree mobility at one of Europe’s oldest universities.

The program develops research and analytical competenciesmanagerial and consulting skills in business and international relations, with a focus on international business administration. A key feature of the double degree program is its emphasis not only on mastering the theory and practice of management, but also on acquiring practical entrepreneurial skills for operating in a rapidly changing business environment.
