INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC COLLABORATION
The Department has a long-standing tradition of fostering robust ties with numerous foreign higher education institutions and leading research centres, including those in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Italy, Lithuania, Germany, Norway, France, Sweden, and other countries. This collaboration frequently involves professors from these premier international universities delivering guest lectures to the Department’s students.
The faculty, doctoral candidates, and postgraduate students of the Department of Finance possess extensive experience in scientific cooperation with key domestic institutions, such as the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, local self-government bodies, and business entities. This engagement primarily takes the form of executing budgetary and contractual research projects and preparing analytical memos. Notably, between 2020 and 2025, the Department’s academic expertise was dedicated to completing a series of research topics commissioned directly by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
Under the leadership of Professor I.O. Liutyi, the Department has successfully secured several grants that have been instrumental in broadening its scope of international cooperation. This expansion has manifested in several crucial areas:
- Organising joint scientific conferences and seminars.
- The publication of collaborative scholarly articles, monographs, and conference proceedings.
- The exchange of cutting-edge information aimed at improving the organisation of the educational process.
- Creating conditions and providing opportunities for academic exchange.
