Second Phase of the TURBO Project Completed at the Faculty of Economics
The Faculty of Economics of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv has successfully completed the second stage of the micro-credential programme “Business in the Digital Environment”, implemented within the international project TURBO – Triggering University Responses for Building Resilient Higher Education Systems in Crisis Contexts under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education programme.
The micro-programme is aimed at developing entrepreneurial, managerial, and digital competencies for internally displaced persons (IDPs). During the second cohort of the programme, 28 participants successfully completed the training and received certificates.
The programme combined lectures, practical sessions, team projects, and consultations with lecturers. The course included six modules:
- Leadership in Business and Team Building
- Organizational and Managerial Foundations of Digital Business
- Financial Accounting and Taxation
- Business Models and Business Planning
- Financial Management
- FinTech and Cyber Hygiene in the Digital Environment
A distinctive feature of the programme was the integration of academic learning with practical experience from entrepreneurs and experts. The programme was delivered by lecturers of the Faculty of Economics with the support of the Faculty’s partners — the Diia.Business KNU Center and the Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development and Business Ideas Implementation.
The implementation of micro-credential programmes within the project has expanded opportunities for flexible learning and professional retraining for internally displaced persons, while also contributing to the development of innovative educational approaches at the Faculty of Economics.
